GRETA GARCIA

Greta Garcia was born in Philadelphia. She grew up in a middle-class family with 7 brothers. Neither parent nor any of her brothers earned more than a high school degree. She then spent more than 30 years traveling and researching overseas in developing countries, including Mexico, the Caribbean, and West Africa. She taught human sexuality and development for two years at a major US university and she lived in Switzerland while working on gender issues for the United Nations. Her areas of research interest include gender, sexual relationships, and esoteric supernatural beliefs and practices. She has published two books and more than 100 research articles under her real name. Greta is a practitioner of Shakti Yoga. She has been married five times. She has three children. Given the content of the Lovecraft series and the impact publicity would have on her children and career, she prefers to remain anonymous. Greta Garcia is a pen name.
